Hollyoaks actor Imran Adams has taken centre stage in a number of the Channel 4 soap's major storylines since he joined the show last year as Mitchell Deveraux.

From coming out as gay to his homophobic grandfather, to finding out he his mother gave away two of his siblings, young doctor Mitchell has already been through a lot over the past few months.

Mitchell recently found out that mystery villagers Toby (Bobby Gordon) and Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) are in fact his biological brother and sister, who were given away by their mum Martine Deveruax (Kelle Bryan) at birth.

The triplet bombshell was dropped in dramatic scenes earlier this month, leaving Mitchell heartbroken by his family's betrayal.

Speaking exclusively Daily Star Online, Imran said: "When the triples storyline was revealed everyone's jaws dropped, and I'm loving the reaction from fans to be honest.
