Coronavirus

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

A new strain of coronavirus, named COVID-19, originated in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Symptoms include a fever, coughing and shortness of breath. It was deemed a pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020.
